Testimonial: Wareham Middle School

It is my pleasures to share the experience of having Rich Barnes speak at Wareham Middle School. I discovered that Rich is passionate about sharing his message on a local Facebook page, and found him to be an incredible speaker on areas of recovery and life in general. After listening to several of his posted videos, I shared the idea of inviting him to come speak at our school with my grade members and administrators. Once we got his visit approved, he accepted without hesitation and was eager to meet with our kids.

Rich spoke to our 7th and 8th grade students in a way that they could relate to, and understand. He shared personal stories of his successes, and factors such as alcohol and drugs that got in his way at times during his life. He had a genuine conversation with the kids about his struggles in the past, and how he was able to turn his life around in recovery and live a substance free life today.

Rich is passionate about helping anyone in need.  He often shares his message publically and invites those who might be struggling to reach out to him personally.  He took time out of his day to come speak to the students at Wareham Middle School to hopefully help save even one kid from going through what he experienced. Rich not only talks the talk, but he walks the walk. He is a true role model both on social media and in the community.

We were so grateful that Rich accepted our invitation to speak to the 7th and 8th graders at Wareham Middle School. It was an assembly that the kids took to heart and will never forget.  He has a powerful message to share with the world that could potentially save lives, and we so appreciated him coming to speak to our students.

Sincerely,

Karen L. Wagner
